WHY CITIZEN EXISTS

We believe fitness should be welcoming, structured, and sustainable. Since 2015, we've built every studio, class, and process around helping people create a lasting Pilates practice.

MEET THE FOUNDER

Citizen Pilates was founded by Jess Schindler with a vision of creating a different kind of fitness company, one built around people, professionalism, and long-term impact.

WHY CITIZEN EXISTS

Citizen Pilates was founded on the belief that strength is about more than physical fitness.

THE DETAILS MATTER

Every decision we make, from the instructors we hire to the equipment we invest in, is designed to create a better Pilates experience.

Every Citizen studio features Balanced Body Project X reformers, the most spacious reformers offered by the industry’s leading manufacturer. With a 350-pound weight capacity and an elevated carriage height designed to make getting on and off the equipment more comfortable, our studios are built to welcome more bodies, more abilities, and more people to the practice of Pilates.

Because everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the strength, confidence, and community Pilates can provide.

Have never attended a bad class at Citizen. Every class challenges me in new ways. It is exactly what I look for in an exercise studio. Also, everyone is very friendly and makes you feel so welcome.

This is definitely what I have been looking for in a pilates studio! Small classes with dedicated instructors. No class is exactly the same and you walk away with a great work out. Studios are clean and modern. Its best to book in advance as classes do full up quickly. For first timers toe socks are not required. You can work out barefoot or purchase socks at the studio.
